Pre-School
Widford Lodge Pre-School is for both boys and girls from the age of 2½ - 4½.
The main emphasis on our Pre-School is to prepare your child for school. This is done through a variety of activities within a carefully planned curriculum.
Writing and number skills are taught in small groups, with each child being set individual goals. We enjoy games, music and creative art and introduce science based activities and basic French. Your child will also have regular access to computers.
Our learning includes a range of experiences which children can explore through play, an approach we consider particularly important. We believe that learning should be a happy enjoyable experience.
As well as leading those first hand experiments with letters, words, numbers, shapes and colours, our staff also know just when a comforting hug is needed most!
